Commence your journey with a pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation at 8 a.m. Venture into the High Atlas, traversing the Tizi N’Tichka pass, pausing for panoramic views and capturing the essence of Berber villages seamlessly blending into the landscape. Continue south to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famed for its Kasbah and featured in cinematic gems like Gladiator and The Mummy. Enjoy leisurely lunch in the town. Progress to Ouarzazate, “The gate of the desert,” where the stunning Taourirt Kasbah awaits exploration. Navigate through the Rose Valley, passing the Skoura palm grove and numerous kasbahs. The valley, known for cultivating damascene roses, hosts the annual Rose Festival in May. Conclude the day in the captivating Dades Valley for an overnight stay.
