3 days Desert tour from marrakech

The first day After breakfast, start your Morocco desert tour from Marrakech by leaving the hotel or Riyadh and setting off on the road through the Dades Valley (2260m). We stop to take photos. Our guide will tell you about nomadic life at an altitude of 2260 m, the Tiz Inn Tichka path until we reach the world of 1000 kasbahs built in the 19th and 20th centuries and inhabited by Tami El Glaoui who lived in the 19th century. We will then proceed to the Kasbah Unila Valley, and the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou, the oldest city of the region which was a crossroads of caravan routes between Ouarzazate and Marrakech. Along the valley, you will see ochre clay contrasting with green plants. Free time to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. The journey then continues to the Dades Valley via the Valley of the Roses.

Day 2 : On the second day of our Morocco desert tour from Marrakech, we leave our hotels in Dades and head to the huge dunes of Merzouga, but before that, we have a short discovery in the palm groves of Todra and Tingir Gorges, a walk through this oasis. The drive continues to Erfoud, where we visit a geological site to look at fossils and then stop for lunch. We continue on to Erg Chebbi, famous for the nomads who created the Gnawa music that originated in Africa, and with whom – time permitting – we can have a cup of tea. In the afternoon, we’ll take a well-equipped camel ride to admire the direction of the dunes and bivouac to capture the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in a Berber tent.

Day 3 : We get up early to catch the sunrise and return for a hearty breakfast. Our camel driver then prepares them for our return to the starting point and, weather permitting, we shower and drive to Marrakech via Rissani Annif, stopping for lunch on the way. We follow the road to Ouarzazate, which has served as a filming location and is home to numerous production studios, making it the capital of African cinema thanks to its natural landscape and sunny climate.
