Day. 1 : Id Aissa. Morocco
Departure from Marrakech in the morning towards Imi Oughlad, meet our local mule teams, then loading our luggage on the mules, continue our walk towards id Aissa, passing through several villages with Berber architecture, a forest of juniper trees, then a 1950 m pass altitude. Lunch after the pass. Night at the stopover lodge at Aid Aïssa 1830 m. 4 hours of walking. 300 DM and - 200 m DD.
Day 2 .
Tamssoult, Morocco
We leave our lodge after our breakfast, cross the Azzaden valley, always passing through typical villages, cultivated terraces surrounded by mountain fruit trees, then continuing to cross the village Tizi oussem - there where we let's take advantage of a specific visit to a family to taste the local food and meet the people to discover their daily lives, after visiting the village we continue our way crossing the Toubkal national park to arrive at the pastures of Tamsoulte 2300 m. Night at the Tamssoult refuge. After our lunch there, we enjoy a visit to the Irouliden waterfalls in the afternoon.
Day 3 :
Imlil
Departure towards Imlil, passing through the Tizi Mzik pass 2450 m, a visit to a small summit of 2650 m to dominate the Azzaden valley, Ait Mizane valley and the western Atlas range. Descent towards a forest called Bardon, lunch next to a source, then continuing the descent towards the center of Imlil, visit of the Imlil center, then transfer to Marrakech. 5 hours of walking. 350 and - - 900 m altitude difference. End of hike.
