Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to East Java, Indonesia! We’ll be picking you up from the airport, train station, or your hotel in Surabaya, Mojokerto, or Malang. We recommend starting our adventure together at around 10:00 AM. The journey to Bondowoso/Ijen will take approximately 5-7 hours. You can request the driver to make a stop at a restaurant (excludi) and restroom facilities if needed. Afterward, you’ll check in at either Ijen View Hotel, Grand Harvest Hotel, or Grand Padis Hotel to rest and prepare for the beginning of your adventure. If time and conditions permit, we can even take you to explore the jagir Waterfalls/Kawah Wurung (optional).

Day 2

Your journey towards Kawah Ijen begins between 00:00 and 01:00, with a 1-2 hour drive to the starting point. Afterward, a 1-hour hike takes you to the mesmerizing crater, where you can witness the ethereal blue flames. Following this, you’ll trek to a viewpoint overlooking the stunning Ijen Lake, catching a breathtaking sunrise. Returning to the initial point at Ijen, you’ll head back to your hotel for breakfast, a refreshing shower, a brief rest, and check-out. Continuing on to Kawah Malang, a 5-hour journey awaits, with opportunities to stop at restaurants (excluding) and restrooms along the way. Upon arrival in Bromo, you’ll check in at your hotel, where you can unwind, explore the surrounding area, and enjoy well-deserved relaxation while making use of the hotel’s facilities.

Day 3

At 03:00 in the early morning, we will commence our journey towards Bromo. Our dedicated jeep will transport you to one of the best spots to witness the sunrise, either Bukit Kingkong or Bukit Penanjakan. We’ll strive to take you to a quieter location for you to relish the most spectacular views. Experience the breathtaking sunrise and iconic panorama of Bromo National Park. During our journey, we’ll pause briefly at Lembah Widodaren to capture some beautiful photographs. Prepare for an adventure across the sea of sand as we navigate with our jeep. Next, we’ll hike to the Bromo crater, a short 30-45 minute trek that promises an unforgettable experience. Following this, we’ll return to the hotel for breakfast, showers, and check-out. We’ll then proceed to the Madakaripura Waterfall, just a 40-minute drive away. There, you’ll explore the waterfall with a leisurely 45-minute walk, so be prepared to get wet! Afterward, we’ll continue the journey to Malang, approximately a 3-hour drive. You can request the driver to make stops at restaurants (excluding) and restrooms if needed. In Malang, we’ll take you on an exploration of the historic kayu tangan Old Town. Check-in at the Citi Hub Hotel/Whiz Prime Hotel and enjoy some well-deserved rest at the hotel.

Day 4

The day begins with a delightful breakfast, followed by the hotel check-out process. At 07:00, our journey to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall begins, which is approximately a 2.5-hour drive away. Upon arrival, you will embark on an adventure of hiking and exploring the beauty surrounding Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and Goa Tetes. You’ll traverse flowing rivers, climb stairs to reach the waterfall’s summit, and discover the enchanting array of cascades here. It’s an unforgettable experience in this breathtaking natural wonder! Once the journey concludes, we will warmly escort you to the Surabaya or Malang airport, station, or hotel, ensuring a smooth transition to your next destination.
