The North Coast option starts with a hike in Candi Dasa before taking a scenic coastal drive to Amed in the North East corner of Bali for snorkeling, SCUBA, cycling, hiking and/or fishing.
Your Active Break is personalized for just you and your group. Your car, driver/guide are 100% dedicated to you.
Some of the activities you will undertake on your own whilst with some you will be joining other participants.
We believe holidays should not be “over organized” however we also understand that when you have limited time, you also need some structure, thus our Active Break itineraries.

Day 1: North Coast, Amed
06.00: Depart from meeting point
07.30-08.00: Coffee/Snack stop
8.00-10.30 Choose between hiking the hills or the easier rice terraces walk around Candi Dasa. Both hikes take you into quiet local areas where you can become immersed in the local environment & culture and see how the rural Balinese live & farm.
10.30-12.30 The north eastern coastal road is probably Bali’s most scenic. It winds high above the small fishing villages and local hill towns towards Amed, providing unparalleled views across the Lombok straight towards Mt Rinjani in Lombok and the Gili’s.
12.30-14.30 Arrive Coral View Villa’s for lunch and rest.
Coral View Villa’s is the perfect Amed getaway with immaculate gardens, large swimming pool, beachside restaurant and direct beach access to a good snorkelling area featuring lots of colorful fish and coral.
14.30 Snorkeling or SCUBA diving for licensed divers (extra charge for SCUBA)
Dinner: overlooking the Bali Sea at Gusto Resto & Café offering an extensive menu including Italian cuisine(included)
Day 2 North Coast, Amed
Morning:
As Amed is a Dive mecca with, you may wish to continue with snorkeling and exploring the wide variety of corals and marine life at various dive site in the area.
There are a variety of sites to suit all levels of fitness and swimming ability. If you are not a strong swimmer, its even possible to wade out from shore and still see plenty of fish and coral. Your guide will take you to at least 2 dive sites in the morning.
If you are looking for something different, then please select one of the following activities:
Mt Bike Riding: our local Bike riding guide, Bajing, knows all the best ways to see this quiet, well preserved area of Bali so that you get the most out of your ride.
or
Hiking: there are two hike options: one down a paved valley road which is about 6km and the other up in the hills behind Amed.
or
Fishing: Try fishing from a colorful local Balinese fishing boat known as a Jukung
or
SCUBA Diving: SCUBA dives for licensed divers (additional costs may apply)
or
Try SCUBA: Experience the thrill of breathing underwater. This can be arranged for an additional price - ask us
12.30 Lunch: Warung Agung: Western and local cuisine available (included)
13.30: Depart Amed for Sanur
16.00: Stop in Sanur for sailing (1-1.5 hours) or go to Bali Wake Park for cable wakeboarding/skiing.
Sailing: Try your hand at sailing a Hobi Cat in the clear blue waters of the lagoon on the inside of the Sanur reef (a safe area away from the open ocean).
An instructor will be with you to make sure you get the most out of the experience.
If the winds are light and not suitable for sailing, you can try sea kayaking and/or explore the Sanur foreshore on bikes.
