Day 1

Welcome to East Java, Indonesia! We will pick you up at the airport, train station, or your hotel in Surabaya, Mojokerto, or Malang. The best time for your pick-up for this tour is before 9 in the morning. The journey to Bondowoso/Ijen will take approximately 5-7 hours, and you can request the driver to make stops at restaurants (exclude) and toilet facilities if needed. Afterward, you will check-in at either Ijen View Hotel to take a short rest and prepare for the start of your adventure.

Day 2

The preparations for the journey to Kawah Ijen begin between 00:00 and 01:00 and will take approximately 1-2 hours of travel time. Following that, the ascent to the crater will last another 1-2 hours, providing an opportunity to witness the captivating blue fire phenomenon. Afterward, you will walk to the beautiful Ijen view point to witness the sunrise. Following this extraordinary experience, you will return to the starting point of Ijen and then head back to your hotel, where you can enjoy breakfast, take a refreshing shower, rest briefly, and check out. The next leg of the journey to Madakaripura will take around 4-5 hours, and you can request the driver to make stops at restaurants (excluded) or toilet facilities if needed. In Madakaripura, you will be able to appreciate the natural beauty and explore the clean and beautiful river, guided by a local guide during the journey to Madakaripura Waterfall. Afterward, the journey continues to Mount Bromo, which will take approximately 1-2 hours, where you can also request the driver to make stops at restaurants (excluded) or toilet facilities if necessary. Upon arriving at Bromo, you will check in at your hotel and can enjoy its facilities, explore the surrounding area, and relax.

Day 3

At 3:00 AM, we will embark on our journey to Bromo with a special Jeep that will take you to one of the best locations to witness the sunrise, either Bukit Kingkong or Bukit Penanjakan. We strive to bring you to quieter spots so you can fully appreciate the stunning sunrise, along with the iconic panorama of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Along the way, we’ll pause briefly at Lembah Widodaren to capture beautiful photographs. Be prepared for an adventure in the sea of sand as we navigate it with our trusty Jeep. Following that, we’ll hike to the Bromo crater, a short journey of approximately 30-45 minutes that will provide an unforgettable experience. Afterward, you’ll return to the hotel for breakfast, a refreshing shower, and the check-out process. This tour will conclude with your transfer to the airport, train station, or hotel in Surabaya or Malang.
