2D1N Senaru Crater Rim Trekking 2639m (8,658 feet). Elevation is one of the most adventurous things you can do on Lombok! The hike is accessible to anyone with relatively good fitness and rewards you with some of the best views in Indonesia. The starting point, Senaru, sits at around 650 meters, which means you’ll climb nearly 2000 meters of elevation in one day. but the views are worth it
The trekking program appeals to those short of time,its provides spectacular views of the Lake Segara Anak within the volcanoes crater.The tour can leave any days except weather conditions does not permitted.

Day 1 Day 1: Senaru village (601M) –Senaru crater rim (2641 M)
Uji Trekking offers pick-up from various locations on the mainland of Lombok. Pick-up times are as follows: 4 AM from Kuta Lombok,4:30 to 5 AM from Mataram,Senggigi,or Tetebatu,and 7 AM from Senaru,8 AM if you stay in Sembalun.If you plan to stay in Senaru before the trek,transportation can be arranged the day before.
- Start the trek at around 8:00 AM from the Rinjani Trek Center in Senaru.
- Explore the dense tropical forest, abundant with flora, birdlife, and butterflies.
- Stop at Post 2 Montong SATAS shelter (1,500 m) for a break.
- Proceed to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000 m) for lunch.
- Continue the trek to the Senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2 hours, and enjoy the spectacular view.
Day 1: Overnight Stay at Senaru Crater Rim
- Set up camp at Senaru crater rim and enjoy an incredible sunset overlooking Mount Agung in Bali.
Day 2Day 2: Senaru crater rim (2641M) – Senaru village (601M)
Day 2: Descent to Senaru Village.
Morning:
- Enjoy breakfast with a beautiful sunrise.
- Descend to Senaru village through the rainforest, with the possibility of spotting the rare black monkey.
- Take lunch along the way.
Afternoon: approximately 2 PM
Arrival at Senaru village (601 m) and transfer to the next destination.

Show full review ➤ From start to finish this was such an amazing experience. Our guide was amazing. We wanted to book something memorable for my daughters 14th birthday whilst in Bali/Lombok. The food that was cooked was something else. Considering it was cooked on the mountain the food was exceptional. The climb to the crater edge was harder than we all anticipated but the view from the top was stunning. We camped at the crater and the decent was the following day. The whole thing was so well organised, would highly recommend. The sunset was simply stunning. My family loved this experience. A very memorable experience that we will never forget. Hide review
