Itinerary of the Majestic Kashmir Tour Package: DAY 1 - Arrival Srinagar Airport – Pahalgam (92 kms / 2 hours) - Meet & Greet on arrival at Srinagar Airport or from your Hotel in Srinagar and transfer to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. - We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. - From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction. - In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. - Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam. DAY 2 - Pahalgam - After Breakfast you will be taken to Sightseeing tour of famous three spots of Pahalgam. - They are – Chandanwari, Betaab Valley & Aru Valley (by local reserved taxi - to be arranged by us). - Later return back to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or moving around the town by walking or on a pony ride (of your own cost). - Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel in Pahalgam. DAY 3 - Pahalgam – Srinagar (92 kms / 2 hours) - After breakfast check out from Pahalgam and proceed towards Srinagar. - Before check in to Houseboat, we will do Sightseeing Tour of Srinagar which will include Shankaracharya Temple, Hazratbal Mosque, Dal Lake, Hari Parbat Fort, Temple of Sharika Devi , Makhdoom Sahib, Mughal Gardens, Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Chashma Shahi & Pari Mahal. - Later check into Houseboat. - Dinner & overnight stay at Houseboat in Srinagar. DAY 4 - Srinagar – Gulmarg - Srinagar (52 km one way /2 hours) - After Breakfast check out from Houseboat and proceed towards Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730m above the sea level. - Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. I - f weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feets and dominates the entire region, also enjoy cable car (Gondola at your own) for mountain ride upto Khilangmarg. - In the evening back to Srinagar and check into Hotel. - Dinner & overnight Stay at Hotel in Srinagar. DAY 5 - Srinagar – Sonamarg - Srinagar (80 km one way / 2 hours) - After breakfasts start for full day excursion tour of Sonamarg which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. - Sonamarg also called Meadows of Gold is located at a height of 2692 meters. - You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. - In the evening back to Srinagar. - Dinner & overnight Stay at Hotel in Srinagar. DAY 6 - Srinagar Airport Drop - Departure - Breakfast at the Hotel. - At scheduled time proceed towards Srinagar Airport for your onward flight.
