After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of India's capital city, where centuries of history blend seamlessly with modern life.
Start in Old Delhi, visiting the magnificent Red Fort, once the ceremonial residence of the Mughal emperors. Continue to the impressive Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques. Enjoy a traditional cycle-rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, passing colorful markets before walking through the aromatic Khari Baoli Spice Market, Asia's largest wholesale spice market. Later, pay respects at Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.
Continue to New Delhi, beginning with the elegant Humayun's Tomb, a masterpiece of early Mughal architecture. Visit the soaring Qutub Minar, India's tallest brick minaret and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the striking Lotus Temple, admired for its distinctive lotus-inspired architecture. After breakfast, drive to Agra, the historic city on the banks of the Yamuna River and former capital of the Mughal Empire.
Following hotel check-in, visit the spectacular Taj Mahal, the world-famous monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan as an everlasting tribute to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
