Day 1: Delhi Sightseeing

This morning we will pick you from your hotel in Delhi after breakfast at the desired time. Your guided tour of Delhi starts with the visit of the Humayun’s Tomb which is precursor to the Taj Mahal and was built in 1515 A.D by the wife of Humayun bega begum. This tomb was built years later the death of Humayun and by its impending architecture and bulbous Dane allures the tourist.

Later you proceed to visit the tallest tower of the world- The Qutub Minar which is five-storied lofty towers with projecting balconies. Now you will be visiting the India Gate, an “Arc-de-Triangle” and stands in the heart of Delhi. You also get to see the neighboring architectural marvels of Lutyen’s Delhi- The Rashtrapati Bhavan (Viceroy House) and the Indian Parliament.

In the afternoon after savoring the local delicacies of Delhi at the lunchtime, you start for the tour of Old Delhi. First, you visit the Grand Jama Masjid which has three Gates and four Imposing towers and 40 meters high 2 minarets. Now you can enjoy the ride of rickshaw to encounter the day to day life of the famed Chandni Chowk Market area. This is the creation of the 17th century when the Mughal emperor Shahjahan founded the city of Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi walled City). The colorful markets brimming with the fabrics and the other items would certainly enthrall you. You also get to see the famous Gurudwara Sis Ganj. At the End of your tour, we transfer you back to your hotel, overnight at the Hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi - Agra - Delhi

On the second day of your tour you will be picked from your hotel in Delhi NCR at 7 am. You will enjoy the journey in a chauffeur-driven car using the Express Highway. As you reach Agra we welcome you and introduce you to your experienced tour guide. Now you start Agra Guided tour with the visit of iconic Taj Mahal. After leaving your car in the car parking you will be taken to the Taj by Golf Cart. After immersing in the seamless beauty of the Taj Mahal and having the narrations of the expert guide you come out to have lunch at a good local restaurants.

Now get ready to visit another World Heritage Site- the Agra Fort which is built on the Bank of Yamuna River close to the Taj. This fort was rebuilt by Akbar on the remains of a previous mud Fort known as Daldalgah in 1565-1573. Now you enjoy the visit of Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb which is known as the Baby Taj. This tomb is not a miniature of the Taj but a precursor to the Taj Mahal which is influenced the architecture of the magnificent Taj Mahal. If the time permits and you desire you can visit now the famous Agra Bazaars for any artifacts, later we transfer you in the same car to your hotel in Delhi.
