Goa to Hampi & Badami Heritage Extension Tour

Day 1: Goa – Hampi via Gadag & Lakkundi

Drive: Approx. 340 km | 7–8 hrs

After breakfast, depart from Goa and drive towards the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hampi. En route, stop at Gadag to visit the historic Trikuteshwara Temple and Kashi Vishwanatha Temple, renowned for their intricate Chalukyan architecture. Continue to the heritage village of Lakkundi, famous for its beautifully carved temples and ancient stepwells that showcase exceptional craftsmanship. Day 2: Hampi Sightseeing

After breakfast, spend the day exploring the magnificent ruins of Hampi, once the glorious capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. Day 3: Hampi – Aihole – Pattadakal – Badami

Drive: Approx. 140 km | 4–5 hrs

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Badami. En route, visit Aihole, widely regarded as the cradle of Indian temple architecture. Explore the Durga Temple, Lad Khan Temple, Ravanaphadi Cave Temple, and the Konti Group of Temples, representing the earliest stages of Chalukyan temple design. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pattadakal, where you'll visit the magnificent Virupaksha Temple, Mallikarjuna Temple, Papanatha Temple, and Sangameshwara Temple. Later, proceed to Badami to explore its spectacular rock-cut Cave Temples carved into towering sandstone cliffs before checking into your hotel. Overnight stay in Badami.

Day 4: Badami – Banashankari – Goa

Drive: Approx. 250 km | 6–7 hrs

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and visit the revered Banashankari Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati and known for its tranquil surroundings and historic significance. Later, begin your scenic drive back to Goa through the beautiful countryside of Karnataka.
