DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT KOCHI, Arrival at Kochi Airport, meet assistance of "Discover Activities, New Delhi" and transfer you to the hotel in Kochi. Also known as Cochin, this city carries stubborn traces of the British, Arabs, Chinese, Dutch, and Portuguese. Sightseeing tour begins with visit to Fort Kochi located on the western coast of India. Also Visit the St. Francis Church (remains Closed on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs). It is the oldest church built by Europeans in India. Also, visit the Jewish Synagogue located close to Fort Kochi, and it more than 100-years old. Built in 1568 and is a showpiece displaying hand-painted floor tiles, Belgium-imported glass chandeliors, rare antiques etc. and an exclusive gallery. Tour of Cochin ends with visit to Chinese Fishing Nets, a hallmark of the Fort Kochi, visible from Fort Kochi. Fishing nets is said to be introduced by Zheng He (a Chinese explorer). It is a highly visited site especially during sunset - for photography purposes. Evening experience the traditional Kathakali Dance Show in Cochin. Overnight stay in Kochi in the hotel.
DAY 02: KOCHI - MUNNAR [165 Km /Approx. 5 Hrs], After breakfast, drive to Munnar, a beautiful hill station of Kerala. It is a popular destination for the honeymooners that offers mesmerising views of vast spice and tea plantations. It also has got the highest peak in South India - Anamudi. Munnar is in the vicinity of various wildlife sanctuaries that are the refuge of many in which exotic species like giant squirrel, Elephant, Gaur, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar, etc and the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (Mountain Goat). On arrival, check-in at the hotel. , rest of the day at leisure. Overnight Munnar
DAY 03: MUNNAR Breakfast at the hotel. Later, sightseeing of Munnar, visit to the Munnar Tea Estates which are nestled amidst pristine nature. A stroll will soak you in the refreshing aroma of the tea leaves. Also visit the Tea Museum displaying old photographs and machinery used in tea processing. Now Explore the Eravikulam National Park, which is a must-visit attraction located in Munnar. It's home to the exotic Nilgiri Tahr (Mountain Goat) and various other endangered species. (NOTE: The park is closed from February to April every year during the mating season for the Nilgiri tahr, which is an endangered species ). Also, visit the Mattupetty Dam. The still waters of the dam reflects the surrounding tea gardens. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.
DAY 04: MUNNAR - THEKKADY [110 Km/Approx. 3.5 Hrs], After breakfast, get driven to Thekkady. Set amidst the Western Ghats, it charms its visitors with rich biodiversity and natural panorama. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Later go for a Boat ride (Optional) at the Periyar Lake to capture rich glimpses of wildlife, tea/coffee and spice plantations etc. Around 100-years old artifical water lake one can sight tigers, elephants and other animals. Overnight stay at hotel in Thekkady.
DAY 05: THEKKADY - ALLEPPEY [130 Km /Approx. 3.5 Hr.] After breakfast, get driven to Alleppey, also called the 'Venice of India . On arrival, board the Houseboat, locally called Kettuvallam. Enjoy Cruising around backwaters of Alleppey to observe & experience the chores of the villagers along the backwaters. Enjoy dinner and a overnight stay in the houseboat in Alleppey.
DAY 06: ALLEPPEY - COCHIN [39 Km /Approx. 1 Hr], Early morning breakfast, have some relaxation on houseboat, soon boat arrives at Alleppey finishing point jetty. Later, meet assistance and transfer to the Cochin Airport for the onward journey.
