Day 2: Jaisalmer Sightseeing – Sam Sand Dunes

Drive: Approx. 80 km Round Trip | 2 hrs

After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Jaisalmer's remarkable heritage. Visit the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, one of the world's few living forts where thousands of residents continue to live within its ancient walls amidst temples, homes, shops, and narrow winding lanes. Continue to the beautifully carved Patwon Ki Haveli, an architectural masterpiece renowned for its intricate sandstone facades and ornate balconies, followed by the elegant Salim Singh Ki Haveli, famous for its distinctive peacock-shaped roof and artistic balconies. Visit the impressive Nathmal Ki Haveli, admired for its unique blend of Rajput and Islamic architectural styles.

Continue to Mandir Palace, the former royal residence showcasing an elegant fusion of Rajput and Mughal architecture, before visiting Bada Bagh, a peaceful complex of beautifully carved royal cenotaphs overlooking the desert landscape. Later, explore the Thar Heritage Museum, where fascinating exhibits introduce the history, traditions, and culture of Rajasthan's desert communities.

In the afternoon, drive to the famous Sam Sand Dunes for an unforgettable desert experience.
