3-Day Delhi & Taj Mahal Tour by car from Delhi

Day 1 - New Delhi

Welcome to New Delhi! You will be picked up from your point of arrival at the Delhi Airport, Train Station or from your accommodation if you are already in Delhi. Upon pick-up, your driver will answer any questions and explain what you will be in for. You will then embark on a full day sightseeing in Delhi ticking off all of the top sights and with a stop for lunch at a nice local restaurant (Lunch not included). Sightseeing includes Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, Old Delhi, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and in the evening time you can visit India Gate, Parliament House, and President House. At the end of the day, your driver will drop you to your hotel upon completion of sightseeing where you can enjoy a good night's rest and explore further at your leisure. Your driver will be happy to provide suggestions for dinner, shopping, etc. Overnight stay in the chosen accommodation.

Day 2 - Agra (230 km / 4hr drive)

After breakfast, drive to Agra to where you will check in to your hotel. Take some time to relax and explore the local bazaars. In the evening time, you will explore Agra fort’s maze of country yards and enjoy an optional excursion to the Mughal Mausoleum of itmad- Ud-Daulah with a return trip to your hotel for a nights rest. Day - 3 Taj Mahal Visit & Return to Delhi

Wake up bright and early to experience the extraordinary Taj Mahal by sunrise. Considered the most extravagant monument ever built for love, the Taj Mahal is a sight not to be missed. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between the period of 1632--1654 a.d.in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. After your morning visit to the Taj Mahal, you will be driven back to Delhi where your driver will drop you at your desired location - or better yet, continue on to another Avtar India Tour. End of tour.
