Day 1: Bhubaneswar – Bhitarkanika National Park

Drive: Approx. 170 km | 4–5 hrs

After pickup from your hotel or Bhubaneswar Airport, begin your scenic drive towards Bhitarkanika National Park. En route, explore Odisha's famous Buddhist Diamond Triangle, visiting the ancient monastic complexes of Ratnagiri, Udayagiri, and Lalitgiri, renowned for their beautifully preserved stupas, monasteries, sculptures, and archaeological remains. Continue through rural landscapes to Bhitarkanika, where you will check in to your jungle resort surrounded by lush greenery. Spend the evening relaxing amidst nature before your overnight stay.

Day 2: Bhitarkanika National Park – Similipal Tiger Reserve

Drive: Approx. 130 km | 3–4 hrs

After breakfast, embark on a memorable boat safari through the winding creeks and mangrove forests of Bhitarkanika National Park. Watch for estuarine crocodiles, kingfishers, herons, and numerous migratory birds while exploring one of India's richest mangrove ecosystems. Visit Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary and the Crocodile Interpretation Centre at Dangamal before returning to your resort. Day 3: Similipal Tiger Reserve Safari

Following an early breakfast, venture into Similipal Tiger Reserve on an exciting jeep safari through dense sal forests, rolling hills, waterfalls, and river valleys. Keep watch for elephants, gaur, spotted deer, sambar, numerous bird species, and, with luck, the reserve's famous melanistic tigers. Day 4: Similipal – Bhubaneswar

Drive: Approx. 250 km | 6–7 hrs

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin your return journey to Bhubaneswar through Odisha's picturesque countryside. Enjoy scenic views and short comfort stops along the way before arriving in Bhubaneswar, where you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable wildlife and cultural adventure.
