Day 01: Aurangabad to Ajanta caves: Morning "Discover Activities, New Delhi" shall Pick you from your hotel in Aurangabad city center area and get driven to Ajanta caves (closed on every Monday) which take 2 hours. Arrive Ajanta caves parking area, you will take a shuttle bus from parking area to Ajanta caves entrance point because authorities maintain it as a carbon pollution free area. Soon you will reach Ajanta caves entrance point and buy your entrance tickets. Now Discover Ajanta caves for couple of hours, cut out of rock, by ancients with their lost technology. Caves encompass one of the most caves structures with ancient paintings in mountain cliffside resembling the form of a gigantic horseshoe.
Huge granite hills were cut and the caves were built by Buddhist monks, who used to live there. The 29 caves at Ajanta dates back between the 2nd century BC and 6th century AD.
Now come back to the parking area by same shuttle bus. Meet our driver and head bck to Aurangabad for your overnight hotle stay.
Day 02: Aurangabad to Ellora caves and Aurangabad city tour and departure: Morning breakfast at the hotel. later head towards the Ellora Caves (closed on every Tuesday). After reaching Ellora caves, explore Ellora caves for 2-3 hours. The incredible Kailasa Temple which is housed in Cave 16 at Ellora, is undoubtedly the most fabulous attraction of this tour. The rock cut temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and perfectly built as a modal of sacred abode at Mount Kailash. The life-size elephant sculptures carved from rocks are a highlight. It is believed that that a whole single hill was carved and modelled into this temple. Now head back to Aurangabad city. Arrive and visit the city highlights of "Daulatabad fort" and "Bibi ka Maqbara.
