In this Red Stones Tour, we will pass by the village of Thymiana which is known for the cultivation of the red-brown stone that is widely used in building upscale homes in Kampos, as well as to build several churches in the island.
Kampos has been characterized as a historic traditional settlement, due to its special historical interest. The whole area is surrounded by an endless garden of citrus trees such as oranges, lemons and mandarins, which is considered sweeter, more aromatic, and ideal for juicing. On the way , a mandarin museum visit is included and an optional coffee break at a traditional cafe will give us the oportunity to discuss further details of this exceptional area. As we follow our steps back to the pick up point a short garden visit in an original mansion will help you feel and notice all the information you get during our walking tour.

This tour is recommended for either early morning or evening times.
1) We'll first get together on an arranged pick up point (accomodation/ port/ airport) and on the way to Karfas beach I'll give you a short briefing about the tour and the places we'll visit.
2) We next follow an easy level walking route, and after a 45-55 minute stroll through the labyrinth of Kampos -an endless garden of citrus trees- we'll reach the Citrus Museum and a local coffee shop.
3) We'll have approximately ≈ 1, 5hr to visit the Museum and taste traditional delicacies, coffee and snacks.
4) Next stop is a typical mansion garden
4) On the way back, we'll pass by Thimiana village center and after 45 mins we'll be back to the car.
5)Drive back to the agreed drop off point.
