Private daytrip to Rhodes, Lindos and 7 Springs

Our shore excursion starts and we are heading to one of the most beautiful places on the island . The town of Lindos is placed on a hill , the sceneries change quickly and suddenly you feel like you are on a Cycladic island . From the town you have a great view to the acropolis , which is the most important archaeological site on the island. The worship of the goddess Athena was established in the acropolis from the 9th century BC . The great development of the city took place in the 6th centuty BC. From the acropolis you have great panoramic view to the nearby beaches. After your visit to Lindos we continue with the seven springs ! This place feels like you are on the mainland of Greece and not on an island ! Full of trees and water from springs. Great place to connect with nature, chill and swim in the only lake of the island ! After we recharge our batteries we continue our excursion and we drive from the highest spot of the city of Rhodes where you can enjoy the panoramic view and continue with the ancient remains of the city. It wasn’t fortified like most acropolis. The buildings on the acropolis of Rhodes date back to 3rd century BC . Last but not least we end our excursion with the old town of Rhodes ! The history of the city dates back to the 5th century BC . Nowdays it is a castle town surrounded by walls that took this form over the centuries. One of the most historic and well preserved castles in the world ! We drive around the Medieval city of Rhodes which was recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site, so you can see the fortification walls and the old port and then visit the castle town with your own pace.
