Private Immersion in the Vineyard & Oenology Training
Unlike a large majority of wine training courses which can be offered to you in the Bordeaux region ; This one is authentic ! I will welcome you directly to my workplace in a warm, rural setting where I will put my experience and my knowledge as an oenologist at your service to teach you everything you will need to progress in this fabulous environment. In addition, the sessions are flexible according to your wishes and your schedule, in short it is case by case to better suit you ! If you decide to book a full day, it is even possible to have lunch on site, in which case I will cook for you.

Itinerary

- La Mondette
All the tour will be happening at "La Mondette" vineyard which is located pretty much at 20 minutes from the famous village of Saint-Émilion. You also need to know that I'm able to pick you up at the Libourne train station if you need it (4 people max)
I usually start by welcome you with a coffee and some french "viennoiserie" and present myself and the property.
Then we will go for a walk through the vines and the cellar to show you my workplace.
We will continue the morning by a small presentation of the Bordeaux vineyard, how it works, the wines that we are able to product, etc...
Then we will go for a lunch break, generaly a BBQ directly on the garden (depending the weather conditions).
Finally during the afternoon, you will be able to choose between 3 different workshops :
Tasting Initiation (Wine tasting method, Flavors smelling, Wine Balance etc.)
Wine defects (What are the different defects in the wine, where do they come from, how do the smell etc.)
Red wine blending (Do you own blend from 3 different red grappes varieties and take your bottle with you)
