Discovering Saint Emilion, the heart of the famous Bordeaux region: You will visit up to 3 different wine estates (at least one full visit and 1-2 shorter, focused on wine tastings) and enjoy a little walk in the beautiful medieval town, learning about its history and main monuments.

Discovering Saint Emilion with a certified sommelier
My private wine tours feature visits to world's famous Saint Emilion vineyard in a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. I offer my tours to very small, thus intimate groups of only up to 4 people! I will guide you throughout this trip by giving you lots of interesting information that will help you understand the region and its wines.
During our tour you will visit 3 very different wine estates ("chateaus”). All visits will finish with a tasting of some beautiful wines- and, if you need, I will teach you how to properly do it!
In between the visits we'll take a little walk in the very picturesque medieval town of Saint Emilion (UNESCO World Heritage Site) discovering its history and main monuments. You will also have a chance to sample Saint Emilion's sweet speciality - the delicious macarons.
Of course there will be time for lunch/picnic.

*9am: pick-up from your Bordeaux location(if another location - extra charges will apply; please contact me before booking)
* 10am: 1st visit at a family-run estate, discovering the vineyards, vat rooms, learning about wine making process, all followed by wine tasting (2-3 wines);
*11:30am: 2nd chateau visit finished with a wine tasting (2-3 wines)
*1pm: A stop for lunch/picnic (not included in the price)
* 2:15pm: A little walk in the town of Saint Emilion, strolling along its paved streets and main monuments, including a short stop for a little macaron tasting
* 3:30pm: 3rd chateau shorter visit focused on another beautiful wine tasting (2-3 wines)
*Return to Bordeaux around 5:30pm
