Day 1: Axum City Tour
Upon arrival at Axum Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Begin your exploration of Axum with visits to the obelisks, archaeological museum, Queen of Sheba Bath, Ezana inscription , tomb of king Kaleb and Gebremeskel , Queen of Sheba Palace and St Mary of Zion Church. Overnight in Axum.
Day 2 :Axum Yeha Debre Damo Adigrat
After breakfast, drive to Yeha to visit the ancient temple. Continue to Debre Damo Monastery, accessible by rope climb. After the visit, drive to Adigrat. Overnight in Adigrat.
Day 3 :Adigrat Gheralta Churches Hawzen
Drive to the Gheralta Mountains. In the morning hike to Abune Yemata Church. In the afternoon visit Giorgis Maykado Church. Continue to Hawzen. Overnight in Hawzen.
Day 4 :Gheralta Mountains Churches Hawzen
In the morning hike to Mariam Korkor and Daniel Korkor churches with panoramic views. In the afternoon visit Mariam Papasit Church. Overnight in Hawzen.
Day 5: Hawzen Mekelle Addis Ababa
After breakfast drive to Mekelle. On the way visit Abraha We Atsbeha and Wukro Cherkos churches. Continue to Mekelle for hotel drop off or afternoon flight to Addis Ababa.
