This is a short overnight trip to Awash National Park. Awash National Park is a national park in Ethiopia which is located at the border of Oromia state and Afar state, the park covers an area of 827 square kilometers, most of it lies at an altitude of 900 meters. in the park you will have a chance to do a short game drive to see the local wildlife, such as oryx, baboons, greater and lesser kudu, warthogs, gazelles, and Colobus monkeys. Additionally, you’d be very lucky to see leopards, lions, and other cats.

Day 1
Depart Addis Ababa and Visit Awash National Park
You'll depart east from Addis Ababa to Awash National Park. In the evening, you will have a chance to do a short game drive to see the local wildlife, such as oryx, baboons, greater and lesser kudu, warthogs, gazelles, and Colobus monkeys. Additionally, you’d be very lucky to see leopards, lions, and other cats. The landscapes in the park are beautiful, looking over the Awash Gorge. Today, you can drive deep into the park, near the hot springs. Your overnight stay will be in Awash National Park (lodge or camping).
Day 2
Visit the National Park and Drive back to Addis Ababa
Early in the morning, you will take a drive to the park to witness the park as it comes alive. Afterward, you will depart from Awash, returning to Addis Ababa. On the way, you can stop in Sodere to take a shower in the therapeutic hot springs waters.
