Ancient Egypt: Giza pyramids, Dahshour, Memphis and Sakkara

After breakfast our guide will pick you up at your hotel to start the journey towards the desert of Dahshour. The visit of the Dahshour enclosure and visit its two pyramids; the Rhomboid Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. Both date from the time of King Senefru; father of King Cheops. These pyramids are the last founded in Egypt before starting in the wonder of the world, the pyramid of Cheops. The rhomboid pyramid historically, the oldest of the two; it still has a large part of the cladding that protected it from time in limestone. South of that pyramid is the small pyramid of his wife Hetep Heres; the mother of Cheops. The other pyramid because of the iron oxide in the stone is called the red pyramid. The enclosure has a very large and very important military base that is why you cannot take photos with strong zoom for security reasons. You can get inside the chambers of both pyramids, but they are really quite long and deep.

Next, we will visit Memphis, one of the ancient and the first capital of Egypt to see one of the biggest statues for the King Ramesses II, an alabaster sphinx and more statues.

Then you will be transferred to Sakkara, home of the Step Pyramid of Djoser, here you will also see and enjoy the Reliefs of the ancient Egyptians daily life inside the tomb of a senior dignitary.

Lunch (optional) will be provided at a local restaurant.

Then, transfer to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and Valley Temple. Our tour starts with a three-hour walk to enjoy a panorama that will be forever engraved in our memory. Visiting the 3 Pyramids of Giza of which date back to the Old Kingdom, 4th Dynasty. Then you will visit one of the most popular statues, the Sphinx, which is the biggest carved statue on rock from one piece of stone made by King Chephren. You will have the chance to explore inside one of the pyramids inside to see how the pyramids look (Not included - additional fees).

At the end of the tour, we return to the hotel.
