Discovery 5-day tour Mostar to Sarajevo and Trebinje.

Day 1. We depart from Mostar and travel to Konjic to see its iconic Old Stone Bridge from the 17th century, a beautiful example of Ottoman engineering spanning the Neretva River. We then continue to Sarajevo, the captivating capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and explore the city's historical center (UNESCO Tentative List Site), a vibrant mosaic of Eastern and Western influences. We visit the Gazi Husrev-beg museum, wander through the bustling Bascarsija old bazaar, and admire the elegant Sebilj fountain at the heart of the old town. We will stay overnight in Sarajevo.

Day 2. After staying in Sarajevo, we travel to the poignant Tunnel of Hope museum, a preserved underground passage that served as a vital lifeline during the city's siege in the 1990s. We then enjoy a scenic drive through the stunning Sutjeska National Park, one of Bosnia's oldest and most beautiful protected areas, famous for its primeval forest Perućica and the WWII battle site. Our journey continues to Trebinje to see the elegant Arslanagic Bridge from the 16th century. After that, we will come to Trebinje for accommodation.

Day 3. After staying in Trebinje, we travel to Tvrdos to explore its Serbian Orthodox monastery, originally founded in the 15th century, and enjoy a tasting of their excellent red wines, particularly the local Vranec variety, known for its deep color and robust body. We return to Trebinje to visit the hilltop Hercegovacka Gracanica church, explore the Holy Transfiguration of Our Lord cathedral, and wander through the charming historical center. We stay another night in Trebinje.

Day 4. After 2 nights in Trebinje, we travel to the fascinating Vjetrenica cave system (UNESCO World Heritage Site), renowned for its extraordinary biodiversity and spectacular underground formations. We then visit Radimlja to see the remarkable medieval stecci (tombstone) necropolis (UNESCO World Heritage Site) from the 15th-16th centuries, one of the best preserved collections of these unique carved monuments. Our journey continues to Stolac to admire its ancient hilltop fortress (UNESCO Tentative List Site), with origins dating to the 5th century. We will stay in Stolac.

Day 5. After staying in Stolac, we travel to the spectacular Kravica waterfalls, a natural amphitheater of cascades on the Trebizat River, ideal for swimming and photography. We then continue to Medjugorje, a world-famous Roman Catholic pilgrimage center that has attracted millions of visitors since reported apparitions began in 1981. Finally, we return to Mostar, where our memorable journey concludes.

We provide this tour year-round. We recommend you consider having a tour before or after the high season, when it is not so hot and not so crowded but all the sights and attractions are already or are still open. Especially, this applies to elderly people, who need to be careful with sun exposure and high temperatures.

This tour is available "on request". Before making any payment for your booking, we strongly advise you to contact us to check availability. The availability here is not real-time.

The price includes accommodation in 3-star hotels with breakfast. As a rule, we are going to stay in each place of accommodation only 1 night, so it makes no sense to pay there for lunch and dinner. Instead of that, let's enjoy local cuisine.

Accommodation upgrades to a centrally located 4-star hotel are possible; please contact us for that.

We will pick you up at any hotel or place, in Mostar or nearby. Drop-off is in Mostar, the same as pick-up, or upon request in another place. This tour is possible to arrange in the reverse direction upon request.

The service of a professional tour guide is not included, although the guiding will be provided by a person working with our company. This company's guide will be present with you all the time.

This tour accepts a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 5 people. The price of 1 person is for solo travelers wishing to take the tour as an exclusive solo tour.

A single supplement is mandatory; solo travelers must pay extra to have their private room (except when the tour is booked for 1 person).

This is an all-seasons tour and is available all year round. Your booking will be accepted if there is no less than 7 days before the start date.
