Full Chobe Day Trip

Morning: The Cross-Border Journey

• Hotel Pickup (07:00 AM – 07:30 AM): Your air-conditioned transfer vehicle collects you from your accommodation
• The Scenic Drive: You will embark on a scenic 80-kilometer (1-hour) drive through communal lands and teak forests .
• Kazungula Border Crossing: Upon arriving at the unique quadripoint border (where Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, and Namibia nearly meet), your guide walks you through immigration. After passport stamps, you cross into Botswana and board an open-top safari vehicle to meet your professional Botswana ranger.

Mid-Morning: Chobe River Boat Cruise

• Water Safari (09:30 AM – 12:30 PM): The safari begins directly on the water. You will board a specialized, stable riverboat to cruise the Chobe River.
• Up-Close Wildlife: Watercraft can safely get much closer to certain animals than land vehicles. You will drift past massive pods of wallowing hippos, sunbathing Nile crocodiles, and an incredible array of waterbirds like fish eagles and kingfishers.
• The Elephant Swim: If you are lucky, you will witness the iconic sight of elephant herds swimming across the river, using their trunks as snorkels.

🍽️ Midday: Riverfront Buffet Lunch

• The Feast (12:30 PM – 01:30 PM): You will disembark at a luxury riverfront resort (such as the Chobe Safari Lodge or Cresta Mowana) for a comprehensive buffet lunch.
• The Menu: The meal features a mix of local African delicacies (like game meats and traditional stews), international dishes, fresh salads, and desserts. You can dine while overlooking the river tracks you just explored.

🦁 Afternoon: 4x4 Open Vehicle Game Drive

• Into the Park (01:30 PM – 04:15 PM): You will board an open-sided 4x4 safari vehicle to head deep into Chobe National Park’s land terrain.
• Predator & Big Game Tracking: Your tracker/guide uses radio networks and footprint tracking to search for Chobe’s famous wildlife. The afternoon heat draws animals out toward the floodplains to drink.
• What you'll see: You have high chances of spotting lions, leopards, massive herds of Cape buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and impalas.

🌄 Evening: The Return Journey

• Border Departure (04:30 PM): The game drive loops back toward the Kazungula border post. Your guide assists you back through customs to your original transfer vehicle.
• Hotel Drop-off (06:00 PM): You are driven back arriving at your hotel just in time
