6-Day Victoria Falls & Chobe Camping Safari

Day 1

Arrival in Victoria Falls- Zambezi River Sunset Cruise

On arrival the guide will be waiting for you with a nameboard. You will be picked from the airport and transferred to Victoria Falls to check in in your lodge. The guide will take you through the itinerary, giving you an insight about the next coming days. After refreshing, the Zambezi River cruise is great way to welcome you. After refreshing around 1545hrs, you will be picked for an open bar sunset cruise on the Zambezi River to enjoy a welcome from the hippos, and the basking crocodiles. The cruise will take about 2hours before you are taken back to the lodge for the night. You may also choose to be dropped at a local restaurant for dinner.

Day 2

Exclusive Victoria Falls Experience

Victoria Falls is one of the most compelling sites in the world. It’s a stupendous experience, the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is Nature’s Supreme Masterpiece. The Guide will ensure that the best photographic opportunities are indicated, whilst mesmerizing the clients with historical and current information, as well as details on the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other related issues on this World Heritage Site. After walking and admiring nature at the rainforest, its time to go for the scenic helicopter flight above the above the Victoria Falls so that you appreciate the ariel view of this landmark, the day ends at lookout Cafe a restaurant built on the edge of the Batoka gorge.

Day 3

A Chobe National Park Full Day Experience

You will be picked up from your hotel in Victoria Falls early in the morning at around 7:00 am and transferred to Chobe via the Kazungula border. Your safari will start with a 3-hour game drive in the Chobe National Park. Through various pathways, you will spot animals and view them from the closest but safest possible points. The Big Five are common spottings in this park. You will retire for lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge. After lunch, it will be time for a boat safari in the Chobe River. This three-hour safari presents nice photographic opportunities as animals can be spotted on the banks of the river quenching the thirst on otherwise a hot African afternoon.

The day ends with a drive to the camp for an overnight stay. With meals on a bush cuisine, this will be an amazing experience as you sleep to the mesmerizing sounds of elephant trumpets, buffaloes bellows and the lions roaring through the night!

Day 4

Up close and personal with Big 5- A full day Chobe game drive

We wake up at dawn and with a continental breakfast set out of the camp for a full day game drive. In the morning, it is believed that the cats will also be active and our chances of seeing more of these species are much higher then too. We go through the various pathways of the park, spotting and seeing the amazing wildlife as near as possible. You will have so many great photographic opportunities.

Around 11am we go back to the camp for our brunch. We rest, relax a bit before we set off on an afternoon game drive in the Park. The drive will last about 3 hours and we expect to go back to the camp at 1700hrs. Dinner will be served around 1900hrs after which we all convene on a bone fire to relish and share our experiences about the safari so far.

Day 5

Safari Wrap up- Good by Chobe

We wake up again early in the morning for a wrap up game drive in Chobe National Park. The quest of this drive is try and spot the wildlife for one more time in case there is something new we missed on our previous drives. The drive will last for about 3 hours before we go back to the camp. We will then refresh have breakfast and get our belongings before we drive exiting the park. You will be transferred to the Victoria Falls border, and transferred back to your hotel in Victoria Falls.

The day ends with an amazing Boma dinner and traditional drumshow. This a good farewell Victoria Falls dinner and creates lasting memories as you cherish the amazing last 5 days.

Day 6

Goodbye Victoria Falls

Today its farewell Victoria Falls. Nothing much is done on the day except for packing the memories of the Victoria Falls and Chobe National, check out and transfer to the airport at a time you will communicate with the guide. You will be transferred to the airport such that you check in at least 2 hours before flight departure.
