Tour to Lake Bangweulu adventure
On the great North Road , you will travel from Lusaka to Mkushi,298 km where you will spend a night at Fika Lodge. Next morning you will travel enroute to Samfya. ABOUT SAMFYA:
Samfya is situated in the Luapula Province of Zambia. It is on the edge of the Western shore of Lake Bangweulu, about 10km east of the main road between Mansa and Serenje. This is a small trading and lake-transport town and yet has quite a bit to offer visitors.
Samfya is the largest town on the shores of Lake Bangweulu. ‘Bangweulu’ means ‘The Place Where the Water Meets the Sky.’ The Lake is more of a fish source than tourist potential, for now. The main catches in the Lake are bream, tigerfish, yellow belly and catfish. Thousands of tons of fish are harvested from the Lake each year.
Samfya is on a tarred road which links the province to the Great North Road at Serenje. This includes the longest bridge in Zambia, the Luapula Bridge in the far south-east corner of the district.

Lusaka to Mfushi
Day 1- on the great North Road you will travel from Lusaka to Mkushi,298 km, upon arrival you will check in a beautiful and comfortable accommodation (Fika Lodge) where you will spend a night. Evening Eat your delicious dinner then retire to sleep.
Day 2-Bangweulu/Samfya
Work up in the morning 6:30 am, take a bath at 7am eat your breakfast. Pick up time 7:30am

*You will check out at then drive from Mkushi to Samfya town 407 km via Great N RD/ T2. Upon arrival,you will check in at (Samfya beach front village).Depending on arrival time, you can do a city tour within Samfya Town. Evening you will eat your delicious dinner then retire to sleep.
Day 3- activities on this day:
*Morning speed boat tour at 8:30
*Afternoon, relaxing beach getaway with braii and Drinks. Evening Eat your delicious dinner then retire to sleep.
Day 4- You will check out at the Lodge then eat your delicious breakfast. Pick up time 7:30.
*You will travel back to Mfushi 407 km, upon arrival you will check in at (Fika Lodge) to spend a night. Evening Eat your delicious dinner then retire to sleep.
Day 5- Woke up at 06am take a shower then eat your breakfast at 06:30. Pick up time 7am.

You Will check out at (Fika Lodge) and head back to Lusaka 298 km, on Great North Road/T2. End of tour
