After meeting, tour guide will introduce the itinerary then we start the tour with the first destination visiting Tran Quoc pagoda (English name: Protecting country), is the oldest of its kind in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De Dynasty (544 - 548). Through the tour guide sightseeing and extensive historical knowledge, you will feel the beautiful of landscape as well as the peace of West Lake in every moment. Ho Chi Minh complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One-Pillar pagoda (open but Monday and Friday). Continue drive to the Temple of Literature (or you might choose one of the museums in Hanoi – Hilton Hanoi, Military museum, Museum of History, Ethnology museum…). Hoan Kiem Lake and the French Quarter (Old Quarter Hanoi), The Huc Bridge. 8:00- 8:30. Our driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel then move to Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of President Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s hero. At the complex, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where keep the preserved body of Ho Chi Minh president (closed on Monday, Friday and through October – November, we will revise the itinerary to avoid Mon and Fri), the colonial Presidential Palace, originally the French Governor Office, Ho Chi Minh’s stilts house on stilts where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from 1958 - 1969. The One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. The next stop is The Opera House, it was built in 1911. The Opera House located in the France Quarter next to Trang Tien plaza where is a busy shopping area, featuring bookshops, galleries, boutiques and the Trang Tien Plaza, a French colonial shopping complex retailing international brands. From there, we will visit to Temple of Literature - the first university in Vietnam was built in 1070. It becomes the symbol of Vietnam and our tour guide will tell you how it become one of the must-see places in Hanoi for both domestic and foreign tourists. We will stop in the Hoan Kiem lake, drink Vietnamese coffee and the tour guide will introduce the lake, tell the legendary and explain the history about "Hoan Kiem Lake" (the heart of Hanoi). After that, time for cyclo (electric car) near the lake if you want to discover Hanoi Old Quarter, which has a long history of 2000 years of development which is the beating heart of the city. In here, bustling life of Hanoians is reflected in the most vivid way with crowded streets of people trading with each other. The quarter consists mainly of 36 Old Streets divided and named according to their craft guides in the past, and remain most of that working system until now. 12:00-12:30: Come back to your hotel, finish the tour.
