Itinerary of the Hanoi, Sapa & Ninh Binh - 6 Days Tour Package: DAY 1 - Meeting on arrival to the airport and transfer to the hotel - Our representative will meet your in the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi. - In the hotel you will have plenty of time to recover from your flight, chill out and meet everybody in your group. DAY 2 - Hanoi Full Day City Tour - Sapa night train, (breakfast included) - Soon after breakfast at hotel at 8:00 AM join with tour guide for a full day city tour. - Hanoi city tour starts with Ho Chi Minh complex, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, stilt house (viewed from outside and closed on Mondays and Fridays and in October, November), Ba Dinh square, One Pillar pagoda. - Then we head to Temple of Literature, which is famous as the first university of Vietnam and the remarkable Ethnologic Museum, devoted to Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. - Proceed travel towards Hoa Lo Prison, once named 'Hell in the Earth', that was used by the French colonists to sentence Vietnamese political prisoners. - Later on, visit the calm lake of Hoan Kiem with Ngoc Son temple near Hanoi Old Quarter. Next transfer for one - hour Water Puppets shows observing. - At 8:00 PM our chauffeur and tour guide will move you to Hanoi train station for the night train to Lao Cai. Get a different experience by using soft-sleeper, wooden 4-berth sharing cabin on tourist carriage train, traversing highland area and over night on train. - Feel free to ask train staff for late night snack (instant noodle) and lock your cabin before going to sleep. DAY 3 - Arrival to Lao Cai - Sapa - Ham Rong Mountain - Cat village, (breakfast included) - Arrive to Lao Cai train station at 5:30 AM. - Our car driver will be already waiting for you and meet you at the station to take you to the hotel in Sapa Town. - In the hotel, please, keep your luggage in the reception and take a rest in the lobby. - Get your breakfast and also rest for a while in hotel before visiting Sapa Town. - We will have a short walk to Ham Rong Mountain. - On the way, stop at local market, take joy in the scene of various ethnic minorities wearing their colorful traditional costumes and offering local products includes vegetable, bamboo shoot, mushroom, medicinal herbs and souvenirs. Tend not to be shy, go and have a conversation. You will be surprised that these people can communicate in English, French with complete confidence, and they have no accent at all, even kids! - Check in your hotel at 14:00 (earlier check in based on availability). - In the afternoon, travel to Cat Cat, village of the Black H'mong minority. Here you can easily find a waterfall and a hydroelectric power plant constructed by the French in the past. - Continue to trek another village, Sin Chai before returning to Sapa. - Keep in mind: this particular trek depends a lot on your fitness, please do not hesitate discuss about with your local tour guide, if you would prefer to trek more or less. - Over night at hotel in Sapa town. DAY 4 - Lao Cai - Sapa - Lao Chai/Ta Van - Silver Waterfall - Tram Ton - Night train back to Hanoi (breakfast included) - Hike down to Lao Chai village to pay a visit to the Tay and Day tribes. - Continue throughout the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village, that is supposed as being the most wonderful one in the region. - Today walking endure 4 hours, but you can discuss with your guide to get a shorter or longer trekking. - In the afternoon, drive up hill to find the famous Silver Waterfall and afterwards reach Tram Ton, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam at 1,800 m over the sea level for taking pleasure in the magnificence of Hoang Lien Son Mountain range along with over viewing spectacular scenery extending endlessly all the way around. - Transfer way back to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Hanoi by soft sleeper, 4-berth sharing compartment on tourist train. - Travel through the night on the tourist train. - Keep in mind: feel free to request train personnel for late night snack (instant noodle) and lock your cabin prior to sleeping. DAY 5 - Hanoi - Hoalu - Tam Coc - Hanoi (breakfast included) - After breakfast we go out of the city and drive through countryside northern Vietnam to the place of the country's first capital, Hoa Lu. - We visit the temples dedicated to emperors of the Le Dynasty antedating approximately a thousand years and view the ruins of the ancient Hoa Lu Citadel. - If time allows, we'll also take a half-hour hike into the surrounding limestone karst hills for magnificent sights of the area. - This afternoon, sit back and relax on board your private sampan for a boat trip via Tam Coc. Far from the typical tourist trail, we pass through cave formations and fields of lotus (most stunning in the Summer time ) just before reaching Bich Dong pagoda. - From here we transfer back to Hanoi where there will be free time in the evening. DAY 6 - The end of our Hanoi, Sapa & Ninh Binh - 6 Days Tour Package (breakfast included). - Breakfast at the hotel. - Free feel until our driver picks you up at the hotel and take to the airport for your flight home or your next travel destination.
