Description
Emerald Cave Kayak Tour without Transportation
5-mile round-trip tour of the spectacular Black Canyon on the Colorado River. When you arrive at Willow Beach, get ready for an amazing adventure! Your guide will get you prepared for this amazing day ahead in your kayaks. Then start paddling upstream all the way to the historical Gauging Station 2 1/2 miles into the Black Canyon. You will have a chance to see all the desert wildlife: Big Horn Sheep, Coyote, Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, Blue Heron, Falcon and Turtles.
Your first stop will be one-mile up-stream at a historical overlook, that will give you awe-inspiring views of the legendary Colorado River and your guide will provide you healthy snacks, bananas, and water. Your guide will explain the interesting history of what the river was used for close to 100 years ago and facts of the Hoover Dam! Finally, enjoy the beautiful green waters of Emerald Cave which is a perfect spot to take a fantastic photo. (If you bring any electronics with yourself during the tour, we highly recommend to bring a waterproof bag! )
It's a family friendly group activity, NO ALCOHOL OR SMOKING ALLOWED. Only service animals are allowed on this tour with SELF-DRIVE option!

This activity ends back at the starting point. You will be meeting the activity provider at Willow Beach. Please check in at our white Ford Transit (with Las Vegas SUP Kayak Club logo on it) with a kayak trailer at the designated paddle-craft area on the far-left side of the beach.
Have reliable transportation to meet us, there is NO cell service at the marina to call a ride share.
