2 Day hike of Mountain Muhavura. This tour gives you a slow hike as you enjoy nature's beauty of Mountain Muhavura. The hike has three resting camps and you will pitch camp on the 3rd rest camp. On the third rest camp you have the option of summiting or you rest and summit early next day.

Description
2 Day hike of Mountain Muhavura
The 2 day mountain Muhavura hike starts in Kisoro and ends in Kisoro. This is another slow experience hike that gives you the best of Mountain Muhavura. Mountain Muhavura is 4127m above sea level and one of the inactive mountain ranges of the Virunga massif that is located in Uganda. At the summit expect to see a Crator lake and the other ranges of Mgahinga, Sabinyo, Karisibi, Mikeno. The Mountain has 3 resting camps and you will pitch camp at the 3rd camp which is one hour to the summit. You are advised to carry sleeping bags, some food to cook, enough water for drinking. Porters are provided to carry your language at a fee of 40$

Day1: You will be picked up from your hotel at 6:30 am and you will head to the park gate where you will receive briefing before the hike. After briefing you will start the hike till the final resting camp. You have the option of summiting. At the rest camp you will prepare your dinner and then rest. You will arise at 2:00 am to enjoy the sky view of the Virunga ranges
Day2: You will arise at 6:00am, start to summit at 6:30 am. At the summit you will enjoy the views for 30 mins thereafter you will descend down to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast you will then descend down the mountain. You will then be taken to your hotel.
