Day 1:

Arrival in Uganda and Airport Pick-up

A professional guide from Verdoro Safaris will greet you in Uganda, known as the Pearl of Africa. Your pick-up location will be at Entebbe International Airport. As we drive to your hotel in Entebbe, we will discuss the itinerary planned for the next eight days. Upon your hotel arrival, you will check in, enjoy a meal, and spend a relaxing evening.

Day 2:

Transfer to Jinja

Following breakfast, set out on a morning journey to Jinja, the source of the world's second-longest river. Upon arrival, you will receive a briefing on the day's activities, including a boat ride to witness the Nile's source firsthand. Embark on an exhilarating rowing adventure through the Nile's turbulent rapids. Afterward, enjoy lunch before driving to the starting point for tubing on the river's gentler waters. This thrilling yet serene activity allows for bird watching and observing local fishermen along the riverbanks. The duration of flat water tubing, which is a leisurely activity involving floating on the water while sunbathing and enjoying the scenery, ranges from 2-3 hours depending on water levels. Conclude your day with a drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

On day three, following an early breakfast, your guide will escort you to Sipi Falls. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy lunch before receiving a briefing on the hike and meeting the local guides. Subsequently, you'll embark on a hike to the trio of waterfalls, which stand at heights of 100m, 85m, and 75m respectively. Beginning with the tallest waterfall, you'll engage in a nature walk within the lower Elgon region. Your guide will then prepare you for abseiling, an adrenaline-inducing activity. Post-adventure, you'll return to the lodge for a well-deserved meal and spend the remainder of your day relaxing and taking in the scenic vistas of the area.

Day 4

Transfer to Murchison

After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the Elgon region and set off for Murchison Falls National Park. As Uganda's largest and most venerable park, it is renowned for housing the world's most formidable waterfall. It also ranks as the most frequented among all savanna parks in Uganda. Upon your arrival, check into the lodge, embark on an evening game drive, enjoy dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay.

Day 5

Morning boat cruise and hike to the top of the falls

After breakfast, your guide will provide a briefing on the day's activities before crossing the Nile by ferry to the park's northern bank for an early morning game drive. During the drive, your guide will assist in spotting various wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalos, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribis, Bohor reedbucks, and hyenas. With some luck, you may even catch a glimpse of a leopard. Following a lunch break, embark on a boat safari upstream on the Victoria Nile to the base of the falls, just meters from the 'Devil’s Cauldron.' Along this 17km journey, keep an eye out for hippos and crocodiles basking in the sun, and you might spot elephants and waterbucks along the riverbanks. Upon reaching the falls' base, you will disembark from the boat and begin a challenging hike to the top of the falls (approximately 1 hour). As you approach the top, witness the world's longest river forcefully burst through a narrow gap in the Rift Valley escarpment to cascade into a frothing pool 43 meters below. After this exhilarating experience, your guide will escort you back to the lodge for dinner and well-deserved rest."

Day 6

Transfer to kibale

Savor your breakfast before departing for the day-long drive to Kibale National Park. The journey will span the entire day, with lunch provided along the way. Upon reaching the park, you'll check into your lodge and then embark on the Bigodi Swamp walk. Afterward, you can relax at your lodge, where you'll be served dinner and spend the night.

Day 7

Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen N.P

'Following an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Kanyanchu park headquarters for a briefing. Subsequently, a guide will escort you into the forest to locate the resident chimpanzee troops. During the search, you may also encounter any of the 13 primate species that inhabit the park. Post-lunch, you will check into your hotel and later enjoy an evening boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, where you have the chance to observe hippos and a diverse array of aquatic wildlife, including crocodiles and waterbirds.'

Day 8

Morning game drive and transfer to Entebbe via the equator

After enjoying your breakfast at the Lodge, you will proceed to check out, taking a packed lunch with you for a morning game drive. As you journey through the park, you will dedicate half of the day to observing various wildlife species such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, waterbucks, Ugandan kob, and possibly leopards.
