Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari In Uganda
To start your journey on a gorilla trek of Bwindi Gorilla Trekking - 4-Days Tour Package, one needs to be energetic and fit, prepared enough to deal with humid, and muddy conditions of a rainforest. Gorillas are susceptible to human illnesses but do not have enough resistive power to fight the diseases and cold environment which means that any carelessness might endanger the whole family of gorillas and you will not be allowed on trekking if you are not well.
Rainforest is a challenging environment even when the season is dry. And it becomes worse when there are humid, wet and muddy conditions coupled with thick vegetation and insects. Spending time with gorillas in the wild is best, but you should be prepared to stay on the trek.
Along the Bwindi Gorilla Trekking, your guide will take you into the secret paths of forests, looking for a habituated gorilla family. You will approach the gorillas in a mild way and will observe them from a distance of approximately 7 to 10 m. Almost quality 40 minutes and an hour would be spent with them. You would witness the babies playing and foraging here and there. The great silverback patriarch would be observing you constantly as protective of his family.

Itinerary of the Bwindi Gorilla Trekking - 4-Days Tour Package: DAY 1 – Arrival at the Airport - Guide will receive you from the airport and you would be taken to your already booked room in the hotel where briefing about the safari tour would be given by one of our experts. - You can go to the option of exploring Uganda Wild Life Education Center (Entebbe Zoo). DAY 2 – To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Departure from Entebbe to proceed to the south-west will be right after breakfast. - The first stopover will be at the Equator which offers very beautiful scenes to capture some photos. - The driver will take you to the savannah grasslands. Ankole cattle herds and banana plantation will be along the path. - Go up into the Kigezi highlands, the “Switzerland of Africa”. It is enmeshed with mountain scenery as well as farming terraces. DAY 3 – Gorilla Tracking - Morning cup of tea or coffee is must before starting your gorilla trekking safari. - You will be briefed at the briefing point about the day-long trekking at the park headquarters. - Do’s and don’ts will be told how to trek in the jungle full of gentle Giants. - Walking sticks are must on this trek which would be provided. - In addition to adequate drinking water, one should carry his lunch box also with him. - Gazing into the eyes of gentle giants is a thrilling experience as this creature share 95% of the traits with humans. - After the daylong two-way trekking, you will have the time to relax and enjoy a healthy dinner. - Overnight stay would be at a lodging facility.
