This private 10-day chimpanzee trekking, Big 5 game viewing, and gorilla adventure tour offers the best of Uganda in terms of wildlife and primates. Highlights include the "Big Five" safari of Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary; tracking the chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park; and perhaps the biggest highlight, tracking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to find the mountain gorillas.

Itinerary
Day 1: Travel from Entebbe/Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park with Rhino Trekking En-route
After your breakfast, Simba African Expeditions’ driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel/place of residence by 7.00am. Drive northwards on the Kampala—Gulu road for approximately two and half-hours and get to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Set out for tracking the White Rhinos. In addition to the rhinos, the sanctuary harbors several other wildlife and many birds. After close to two hours of rhino tracking, get back on the road and head to Masindi for your lunch; thereafter, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Check in at your booked accommodation to relax, have dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 2: Early morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Safari
After having your breakfast, head out for a game drive. Expect sightings of lions, African elephants, Cape buffaloes, giraffes, reedbuck, lots of savanna birds, and wonderful scenery. After close to a four-hour drive, retire back to your booked accommodation for lunch. Later set out for the afternoon launch cruise along the Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. There are many wildlife sightings along the Nile, including hippos, crocodiles, and many water birds. At the base of the falls, you can opt for the launch and hike along the falls to the top of the falls. You meet the driver at the top and transfer back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Hoima—Lake Albert
Have your breakfast, and then check out of your lodge at 9.00am to start traveling to Hoima. Driving along the Rift Valley escarpment while enjoying lovely views of the volcanic landscape and verdant countryside. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Travel to Kibale Forest National Park
Have your breakfast, then check out of the lodge, and thereafter head to Kibale Forest National Park. The drive along the scenic Albertine Rift Valley continues. You will stop over in Fort Portal town for lunch before proceeding to Kibale Forest National Park. Check into your booked accommodation that is situated just outside the park. Spend the day relaxing and enjoying the natural environment outside at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking Kibale with Evening Nature Walk in Bigodi Wetland
Wake up to have your breakfast at 6:30am, and later transfer to the park offices for briefing. By 8:00 am, you trek into the forest to find the chimps and sight a lot of wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch. Later head out for a nature walk in Bigodi Swamp for sightings of primates and birds. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After taking your breakfast, check out of the lodge and head for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have a stopover in Fort Portal for an en-route lunch. You will get to the park and drive to Mweya Peninsula while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of beautiful crater lakes dotted across the lush landscape. You will get to your booked accommodation in the late afternoon and spend the rest of the evening enjoying the beautiful nature across the park.
Day 7: Early morning Game Drive, Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel
Wake up for a cup of tea/coffee at 6.00am, and thereafter, set out for a morning game drive. You will spot wildlife, which includes lions, Cape buffaloes, African elephants, hyenas, and topis. The scenery is amazing with crater lakes and grassy hills. After a drive, retire to your booked lodge for breakfast and wait for lunch; thereafter, set out for the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that joins Lakes Edward and George. The channel attracts a plethora of wildlife and many water birds with wonderful scenery while cruising. Dinner and overnight at your booked accommodation.
Day 8: Early Game Driver, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Wake up for your breakfast, then check out of the accommodation and start traveling towards the southern area of the park called Ishasha. Which is popular for the tree-climbing lions; if you are lucky, you might spot them? Other big game in this area includes African elephants, topis, and Cape buffaloes, among others. Lunch in Ishasha; thereafter travel southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Check in at your booked accommodation, dinner, and overnight.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi then Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Have your breakfast, accompanied by a packed lunch, transfer to the park offices for a briefing by the rangers, and be assigned a gorilla group you shall track. At 8:00 am, transfer to the start of the trek and head into the forest to find the mountain gorillas. You are allowed not more than an hour with them; return to meet your driver. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxation experience. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Early morning Canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi, Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe
Wake up for a morning canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi, and thereafter check out and travel back to Kampala via Mbarara. Lunch is en route in Mbarara. You shall make a stopover at the Uganda Equator in Mpigi for some picture moments. Proceed to Kampala/Entebbe and drop off at your hotel.
