FD OLDCITY TOUR
A tour to understand why Istanbul so important and beautiful city to explore.
You meet your licenced tour guide and board your air-conditioned van.
and drive to the Sultanahmet square, the heart of the Old City.
We walk through the Hippodrome, the former site of chariot races in the Roman Empire. We can see Obelisk, Serpent Column, Walled Column, German Fountain.
Then, we visit the Blue Mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in the world. The mosque is known for its stunning blue tiles and its six minarets.
Our next step is Hagia Sophia, one of the most iconic landmarks in Istanbul. Originally built as a church in the 6th century, it was converted into a mosque in the 15th century and converted into a mosque one more time after 85 years. We will see Hagia Sophia from outside. Because of regular tour program, it is better to visit in your free time by your own. There is no privilege for guides or travel agencies while buying ticket.
We will have time for shopping and lunch and our guide will show us best options for different interests. We will help you for safer shopping.
After lunch our route will be Topkapi Palace and Hagia Irene Museum located next to the Hagia Sophia.
