During the day, you will visit Goreme Open Air Museum, Kaymaklı Underground city, Uçhisar fairy chimneys, Love Valley and a famous potter's studio and gallery in Avanos.
As a UNESCO site, the Goreme Open Air Museum displays small rock-cut churches with medieval Christians' wall paintings from the Romans. Another UNESCO site nearby is an underground city called Kaymaklı, offering exceptional insights into ancient lives underground. You will be passing through narrow tunnels where only one person can move and pass at a time. After exploring the captivating underground network of carvings, you will return to the GeoPark and admire the impressive view of multi-storey pigeon houses carved into the cliffs facing Uçhisar. Of course the best way of exploring the environment is to walk around. Later on, you'll wander back and forth in the Love Valley to capture your own images of Cappadocia's phallic-shaped rocks. Incomplete! You will go down to Avanos town where the longest river of the country runs and visit a local very famous potter's there. You thus have the chance of shopping genuine works of art there in the cave galleries.
