1-Day Mikumi Safari from Zanzibar–Flight & Lunch with transfer
Escape Zanzibar for a day and discover the wild landscapes of mainland Tanzania with our 1-Day Mikumi National Park Safari by Flight.
Your adventure starts with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar. Your driver will transfer you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your scheduled flight to Mikumi National Park.
After landing at the Mikumi airstrip, you will meet your professional safari driver-guide and begin your 4x4 game drive. Mikumi's open Mkata Floodplain offers excellent opportunities to see wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, hippos and numerous bird species.
Enjoy a bush or picnic lunch during the safari before continuing your game drive through the park. Your guide will help you locate wildlife while explaining the animals, vegetation, and ecosystem.
In the afternoon, return to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. On arrival, our driver will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel, completing your mainland safari adventure without needing an overnight stay.
