Today offers the best opportunity to discover the incredible diversity of Mikumi National Park as you visit different areas where wildlife gathers throughout the day.

Your experienced safari guide will lead you across the park's beautiful plains, woodlands, and waterholes in search of Tanzania's iconic wildlife. Large elephant families may be seen walking gracefully across the grasslands, while buffaloes graze in impressive herds. Lions often spend the cooler morning hours resting or searching for prey, and giraffes provide fantastic photography opportunities as they feed among the acacia trees.

As you continue your journey, you may also encounter hippos relaxing in pools, crocodiles basking along riverbanks, playful baboons, graceful impalas, warthogs, elands, and occasionally even the elusive leopard. After your morning game drive, you'll transfer to Mikumi Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you comfortably back to your hotel, bringing your incredible three-day safari experience to a memorable conclusion.
