Stone Town Historical Walking Tour with Khalfan

Tour itinerary:

• House of wonders : This is the tour meeting point once after meeting we will start our tour here and spend 20 minutes of the descriptions.
• Forodhani Garden : This is the second point. Where we will spend here 15 minutes explaining about this area that has full of history.
• Old Fort : This is the only Portuguese influence remained in stone town. The building has full of history since the Portuguese time in Zanzibar. We will spend here 10 minutes for the explanations.
• Freddy Mercury Museum: This is another point where we will spend here 7 minutes explaining about the legend from the queen group singer.
• Indian Streets in a stone town: This is the another point where we will explore some magical history of the hindu social in Zanzibar and we will spend here 5 minutes .
• St Joseph Catholic Church: This is another point in a stone town. The historical church in Zanzibar built by the French missionaries many many years back. We will spend here 10 minutes explaining about the French missionaries in Zanzibar and the cathedral church.
• Jaws Corner: This is a center and the heart of the stone two. The place has a great deal of history since the Arab time . We will spend here 10 minutes exploring.
• Hamamni Persian bath: another point in a stone town with full of history. We will spend here 5 minutes explaining.
• Former slave market and Anglican Cathedral Church: This is another important point in a Stone town, the place contains a full of history concerning slavery in Zanzibar.we will spend here 30 -40 minutes exploring.
• Darajani Market/Bazaar: The biggest market in Zanzibar that was built by British. Over here we will spend 20 minutes exploring the market in a different small market inside. Such as fish market. Spice market, vegetable market, chicken market. Butcher Market,fruits market etc.
• Emerson buildings : Thid is another point of our tour, where we will spend 5 minutes exploring.
• Hindu Temples: Another historical place in a stone Town. Where here we will spend 5 minutes explaining.
• Old Customs House: This is another historical place in a stone town where Weil learn many about this building. We will spend 7 minutes exploring and explaining this is building.
• The first hotel in Zanzibar: This is another tour point where we will spend 5 minutes explaining.
• People’s palace museum: This is another tour point in a Stone town. We will spend here 15 minutes explaining and exploring. After here back to the meeting point where we stated the tour. Where the tour will finish there.
