Day 1: Arrival
Pick up from kilimanjaro airport to hotel in moshi city
Activity: Having meal depend on the time of arrival.
Resting and Briefing about the tour.
Day 2: Hotel, Machame gate to Machame camp
Distance: 45 minutes driving from hotel to Machame Gate and 11km walking to Machame Camp.
Activity: After breakfast, transfer from your hotel to Machame Gate for registration and then begin trekking through the lush rainforest to Machame Camp.
Temperature: Around 18–25°C during the day and 5–10°C at night.
Day 3: Machame camp to Shira camp
Distance: About 5 km.
Activity: Trek through the beautiful rainforest into the moorland zone, enjoying panoramic views of Mount Meru and the surrounding landscapes before reaching Shira Cave Camp.
Temperature: Around 10–20°C during the day and 0–5°C at night.
Day 4:Shira camp to Baranco camp
Distance: About 10 km.
Activity: Trek across the scenic Shira Plateau, passing Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending into the beautiful Barranco Valley.
Temperature: Around 5–15°C during the day and -5–5°C at night.
Day 5: Baranco camp to Karanga
Distance: About 6 km.
Activity: Climb the famous Barranco Wall, then trek across alpine desert terrain with spectacular mountain views before reaching Karanga Camp.
Temperature: Around 5–15°C during the day and -5–5°C at night.
Day 6: Karang to Barafu camp
Distance: About 4 km.
Activity: Trek through the alpine desert toward Barafu Camp, enjoying dramatic views of Kibo and Mawenzi. Arrive at camp, rest, and prepare for the midnight summit attempt.
Temperature: Around 0–10°C during the day and -5–10°C at night.
Day 7: Barafu, Summit to Mweka camp
Distance: About 17 km.
Activity: Start around midnight for the challenging summit trek to Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point. After celebrating the summit and enjoying sunrise views, descend through the alpine desert and moorland to Mweka Camp for rest.
Temperature: Around -5 to 5°C at the summit, rising to 10–20°C during the descent.
Day 8: Mweka camp, Mweka gate to Hotel
Distance: About 10 km downhill from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate.
Activity: Descend through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate, complete your Kilimanjaro trek, collect your certificate, and transfer back to your hotel for relaxation.
Temperature: Around 15–25°C during the day.
Day 9: Departure
Activity: Enjoy breakfast and your final moments in Tanzania before a private transfer from your hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
Transfer time: Approximately 1hours.
