10 DAYS LEMOSHO ROUTE
The Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic trails on Mount Kilimanjaro, offering an unforgettable trekking adventure through diverse landscapes. The journey begins in the lush rainforest before ascending into beautiful moorland and the spectacular Shira Plateau. Along the way, trekkers enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Meru, Kibo Peak, and the surrounding valleys. Day 2: Hotel, Lemosho gate to Forest camp
Distance: About 2hours from hotel to lemosho gate and 5km from Lemosho Gate to Forest Camp.
Activity: After breakfast, transfer from your hotel to Lemosho Gate for registration. Begin trekking through the lush rainforest, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, wildlife, and beautiful mountain scenery before reaching Forest Camp.
Temperature: Around 18–25°C during the day and 10–15°C at night.
Day 3: Forest camp to Shira 1 Camp
Distance: About 8 km.
Activity: Trek through the rainforest and into the moorland zone, enjoying scenic views and changing vegetation as you ascend toward the beautiful Shira Plateau.
Temperature: Around 10–20°C during the day and 5–10°C at night.
Day 4: Shira 1 camp to Shira 2 camp
Distance: About 10 km.

Temperature: Around -5 to 5°C at the summit and 10–20°C at Mweka Camp.
Day 9: Mweka camp, Mweka gate to Hotel
Distance: About 10 km.
Activity: Descend through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. Complete your Kilimanjaro trek, collect your summit certificate, and prepare for your transfer.
Temperature: Around 15–25°C during the day.
Day 10: Departure
Activity: Enjoy your final breakfast in Tanzania before a comfortable transfer from your hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
