3-Day Mikumi Safari & Udzungwa Waterfall Adventure

Day 1: SGR Pickup – Tented Camp – Night Game Drive

Your adventure begins with pickup from the SGR station and transfer to our comfortable tented camp near Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, relax and enjoy lunch or dinner depending on your arrival time.

In the evening, depart for an unforgettable night game drive. Explore the African wilderness after dark and search for nocturnal wildlife such as bush babies, genets, porcupines, hyenas, and other animals that become active at night.

Return to the camp for overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Full-Day Mikumi National Park Safari

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Known for its open savannah and abundant wildlife, the park offers excellent opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, lions, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Continue exploring different wildlife habitats before returning to camp in the late afternoon.

Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Udzungwa Waterfall Hike – SGR Drop-off

After breakfast, drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park for a guided hike through tropical forest trails. Along the way, discover unique plants, colorful birds, and playful monkeys.

Reach the magnificent Sanje Waterfalls, where you can admire stunning views and relax beside the natural pools. After the hike, transfer back to the SGR station for your onward journey.
