Day 2: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp

- Distance: 11 km
- Hiking Time: 6 hours
- Habitat: Moorland
- Climb steadily to the second cave, where you'll enjoy lunch. Proceed through moorland landscapes to Kikelewa Camp, nestled in a sheltered valley.
Day 3: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Hut

- Distance: 5 km

Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Mawenzi Tarn

Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn Hut to Kibo Hut Camp
- Elevation: 4,330m to 4,695m
- Distance: 5 km
- Hiking Time: 5 hours
- Habitat: Alpine Desert
- Cross the lunar desert between Mawenzi and Kibo Peak, reaching Kibo Huts at the base of Kibo’s crater wall. Rest and prepare for the summit ascent.
Day 6: Kibo Huts Camp to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Huts Camp
- Elevation: 4,695m to 5,895m to 3,690m
- Distance: 6 km up, 14 km down
- Hiking Time: 10-15 hours
- Habitat: Alpine Desert
- Start the ascent at midnight, aiming for the summit before sunrise. Reach Uhuru Peak, the roof of Africa, and take photos. Afterward, descend to Kibo Huts for rest before continuing to Horombo Huts for the night.
Day 7: Horombo Huts Camp to Marangu Gate to Moshi/Arusha
- Elevation: 3,690m to 1,830m
- Distance: 18 km
- Descending Time: 5-7 hours
- Descend through moorlands and lush forests, passing Mandara Huts for lunch. Finally, reach Marangu Gate, where you'll sign out and celebrate your successful climb with a certificate presentation.
