Following breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide, drive an hour or so to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate, register, and start the ascent. Reach the Mandara camp by foot through the rainforest. A good way to see the area, which includes Kenya and Northern Tanzania, is to take a side trip to Maundi Crater.
