Your Tanzania safari experience begins in Arusha as you travel toward Central Serengeti, enjoying your first game drives along the way. Continue north the following day, following the seasonal movement of the migration toward the Northern Serengeti. This region is known for its spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife, and proximity to the Mara River.
Day 3 is dedicated to exploring the Northern Serengeti and Mara River area, where the wildebeest migration may gather during the northern migration season. With favorable conditions and luck, you may have the opportunity to witness a Mara River crossing, one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles of the Great Serengeti Migration. River crossings are natural events and cannot be guaranteed, but spending a full day in the area gives you more time to search for the migrating herds and other wildlife.
After your Serengeti adventure, travel south on Day 4 from Northern Serengeti to the Ngorongoro area, enjoying game viewing along the way. Continue to your accommodation near Ngorongoro for a relaxing evening before the final day of your safari.
