3 Days 2 Nights Nyerere National Park
Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve) is Tanzania’s largest national park. The lifeblood of this vast wilderness is the mighty Rufiji River and a network of interconnected lakes. The abundant water supports huge numbers of crocodiles and hippos, which you’ll get scarily close to on boat trips, and also attracts plenty of elephants, buffalo and other wildlife. Early morning offer the best chance to see some lion action.
Nyerere is a stronghold for wild dogs. These highly endangered canines patrol huge home ranges, and the best chance of seeing them is when they are denning in the area. The park also supports a big variety of antelope. Look out for common waterbuck, greater kudu and eland. The majestic sable antelope is one of the flagship animals, but as they tend to stick to thick bush, sightings are hit-and-miss.

DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM– NYERERE NATIONAL PARK (BOAT SAFARI)
In the morning you’ll be picked up from your hotel and driven to Nyerere National Park (Selous ) arriving in time for a hot lunch. In the late afternoon you’ll go on a thrilling boat safari on the Rufiji River where you’ll see hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Your guide will also be able to point out interesting birds and plant species during this trip.

DAY 2: NYERERE FULL DAYS GAME DRIVE
After breakfast, you’ll have a full day of game viewing in Nyerere National Park (Selous) taking a packed lunch with you if you wish to maximize your game drive time. Nyerere (Selous) is bigger than Switzerland and Denmark so it takes a long time to explore properly but your guide will know the best places to go. These will be special days spent exploring the wilderness in the biggest game reserve in Africa and viewing diverse wildlife which includes lion, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, elephant, wild dog and so much more. You might even see the rare Sable antelope!.

DAY 3: NYERERE WALKING & DEPARTURE BACK TO DAR ES SALAAM
Leave early morning for walking safari in the wilderness accompanied with an armed ranger and a guide who guide you on walking to get close to the animals, plants, finger prints, and animals drops for fine pictures. Then drive back to your lodge at 10:00 hrs for breakfast. There after check out from the lodge and drive back to Dar es Salaam to the hotel.
