3-Day The Best of Mikumi National Park
Mikumi National Park is one of Tanzania’s (and perhaps even one of East Africa’s) most underrated wildlife destinations. It is often compared to the world-famous Serengeti National Park in the country’s north. That’s partly because of the sheer number of animals you can see while you’re in Mikumi, and also because of the wide-open landscapes of Mikumi’s floodplains. But Mikumi gets only a small fraction of visitor numbers compared with the Serengeti, which can make for a truly magical experience. The park is also very easy to get to from Dar es Salaam, making it the perfect southern Tanzanian safari destination.

Day 1
Dar es salaam city to Mikumi National Park( evening game drive)
You'll be picked up from the airport, hotel, or ferry, and drive to Mikumi National Park, which is approximately a 6-hour drive. Stop in Morogoro for lunch and proceed to Mikumi National Park. On arrival in the park, you will immediately start an afternoon to evening game drive. In the evening, you will be brought back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at Mikumi Bandaz inside the national park.

Day 2
Game drive and visit Maasai village (Boma)
After breakfast, we'll start on a full-day game drive to spot animals in Mikumi National Park. One of Mikumi's features is that it's stretched across a big plain, so you have the ability to spot a lot of animals. Mikumi National Park hosts animals like lion, elephant, buffalo, impala, zebra and many other wild animals. Enjoy your lunch at the picnic campsites in Mikumi National Park. In the evening, you will go to visit a Maasai village (boma) then head to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day3
Mikumi National Park to Dar es salaam
We'll have an early morning breakfast, and afterwards, we'll drive back to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro town.
On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped at the ferry for the second or last ferry to Zanzibar, or we can drop you off at the airport or hotel.
A Kihindo Tours & Safaris representative will assist you to the airport or to your hotel and shall look forward to receiving you soon again for your next adventure.
