Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Gateway to Adventure

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our Nature Quest Safaris safari guide will greet you with a warm smile and transfer you to your comfortable lodge in Arusha, a vibrant city nestled beneath Mount Meru. Take time to relax after your journeys unwind by the pool, enjoy your first Tanzanian meal, or explore local markets and artisan shops if time allows.

Day 2: Arusha National Park – Walking Safari & Mount Meru Views

Today is the perfect soft start to your safari. After breakfast, take a short drive to the nearby Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided walking safari with an armed ranger getting up close to giraffes, zebras, and warthogs in the shadow of Mount Meru. Continue with a scenic game drive around the Momela Lakes, where flamingos wade and bushbucks graze beneath the forest canopy. This park is small but incredibly rich in diversity, offering everything from lush forests to crater lakes.

Day 3: Arusha to Serengeti – The Journey to the Wild Begins

After an early breakfast, board a bush flight to Serengeti National Park or choose an overland route through the dramatic Ngorongoro Highlands (for a scenic drive). As you descend into the endless plains of the Serengeti, the landscape opens up to reveal your first glimpses of wildlife zebras grazing, elephants strolling, and lions lounging under acacias. Arrive at your tented safari camp in time for an evening game drive and a sundowner by the fire.

Day 4: Serengeti Safari – Big Cats & Endless Plains

Wake up to the sounds of the wild birdsong, distant roars, and rustling grass. Spend the day exploring the heart of the Serengeti with your expert guide. Track prides of lions, spot leopards draped in trees, and follow the path of wildebeest herds if you're here during the Great Migration. Each moment here is raw, real, and awe-inspiring. Your guide will tailor the day based on wildlife movements and your interests this is your African adventure, your way.

Day 6: Serengeti to Arusha – Farewell to the Wild

Enjoy a final morning game drive, catching the sunrise as animals begin to stir. After breakfast, take a short drive back to Arusha, where you'll have time for a farewell lunch or last-minute souvenir shopping before your onward flight or transfer. Reflect on the unforgettable memories you've made sunsets over the savannah, wildlife encounters, and the magic of Africa.
