Serengeti Great Migration Safari Package - 9 Days

Itinerary of the 9 Days Serengeti Great Migration Safari Package: DAY 1 - Arrive in Arusha - Depending on your flight arrival time, you will be met by one of our driver-guide at the airport who will drive you to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the reserved hotel for the night booked on Bed and breakfast. DAY 2 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, depart the hotel and drive Tarangire National Park arriving in time for early lunch. This park is often referred to as the “home of elephants. Here you have a great chance to spot elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals to be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes, and even tree-climbing pythons! DAY 3 - Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, we drive to Serengeti National Park arriving in time for lunch at our lodge or camp. - Serengeti is the largest and most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest-migration, herds of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles. - Dinner and overnight in the heart of Serengeti! DAY 4 - Serengeti National Park - Spend in Serengeti, morning and afternoon game drives. - Meals and overnight at Serengeti Ndutu Lodge or Mbarangeti Tented lodge. - Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. DAY 5 - Serengeti National Park - Wake up have breakfast then take on a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park which will give you an opportunity to watch various animals like the lions, elephants, giraffe, zebras, Monkey, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes as well as a multitude of birds. - Depending on the time of the year and your travel, you will watch the great wildebeest migration. - Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Simba Lodge, Serengeti Kati Kati Camp, Sayari Camp. DAY 6 - Serengeti National Park - Wake up have breakfast then transfer to experience another full day game drive South of Serengeti National Park with packed lunch. - This will offer you the opportunity to watch the great wildebeest migration where millions of hoofed animals will be traversing through the Serengeti Ecosystem. You will view about 1.3 million wildebeest, 250,000 gazelles, and 200,000 Zebras. - Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge. DAY 7 - Transfer - Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, we enjoy a Morning game drive around the Serengeti plains then later game drive en-route arriving in the conservation area in time for lunch. - On your way, you will visit the Olduvai Gorge to learn about the evolution of man. - When you reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will proceed straight to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation - Dinner, and Overnight. - Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar. - Meal plan - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. DAY 8 - Explore Ngorongoro Crater - Wake up have breakfast then descend 600 meters into the crater to watch wildlife animals wander around the crater. You will spot animals like elephants, lions, zebra, monkeys as well as flocks of flamingos. - You will break off for lunch then later, proceed to your hotel/ lodge to relax. - Have Dinner and Overnight in Ngorongoro Gibb’s Farm Lodge, Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar. DAY 9 - Departure- Kilimanjaro International Airport - Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Kilimanjaro International Airport to board your flight back home. - Meal plan - Breakfast.
