EXPLORING THE NORTHERN TANZANIA | 6 DAYS

DAY 1 | Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your first stop on this tour is the beautiful Tarangire National Park where you will spend 1 night at Lake Burunge Tented Camp on a full board basis. Tarangire National park is a really pretty and often overlooked park, where stunning views, large herds of elephants and even tree climbing lions can be found.

The lodge has a main building raised on a wood and concrete platform, with extraordinary views to the Tarangire National Park and to Lake Burunge that includes an area to relax with comfortable sofas, outside and inside dining and a swimming pool. Every evening a camp fire is lit and guests can enjoy the sunset with drinks and appetizers. Weather permitting dinner will be served outside under the stars.

DAY 2 | Drive to Serengeti National Park

Breakfast and depart to Serengeti, enjoy game drive on the way to Serengeti National Park, is known for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Seeking new pasture, the herds move north from their breeding grounds in the grassy southern plains. We don’t have limited mileage, discuss with your driver on when you want to start and when you want to go back to your camp. Enjoy your packed lunch in the picnic site then proceed with game drive.

Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp | Mid-Range

DAYS 3 & 4 | Central Serengeti

After breakfast you will depart with a picnic lunch and head into the Serengeti and drive via Olduvai Gorge and Museum, with game driving en route. The Kati Kati camp moves 3 times during the year ensuring you always have ring side seats to the great migration. Game drives, sundowners and hot air balloon drives are the main activities on offer in the Serengeti.

Spend 3 nights in the Kati Kati mobile camp, in comfortable tents all with private en suite with traditional hot water bucket showers. The camp is powered by solar energy.

DAY 5 | Drive to Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning game, we depart to Ngorongoro crater. Arriving at the edge of the Crater our eyes are welcomed by the breath taking views of the intact volcanic caldera and home to the highest density of big game in Africa. Ngorongoro Crater is like a forgotten world, Concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland and glistening lakes and swamps. The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve which is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. The drive down the into the Crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the Crater floor, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. Continue with game drive in Crater at 5: pm you will return to the Lodge at Ngorongoro highland-Karatu

Overnight at Tloma Lodge | Mid-Range

The excellent location of Tloma on the top of a valley offers fantastic views over a coffee plantation and the walls of the Ngorongoro cráter which can be enjoyed from the private terraces of the rooms..

The gardens, full of flowers and bushes, are particularly attractive, although guests find it difficult to choose between a walk around the gardens or relax around the heated pool.

DAY 6 | Departure

Drive back to Arusha there will be an opportunity to stop at the Cultural Heritage Center {Tanzanite game stone which founded only in Tanzania} for some shopping before getting Kilimanjaro International Airport,
